Jodi McKamey – Bio
Jodi was born and raised in Mission, BC. She attended the Abbotsford Dance Box
for eight years for competitive Jazz dance, ballet, modern, and theater. She
tried out for the BC Lions Cheerleading squad and performed for two seasons.
Afterward, Jodi moved to Vancouver and attended Langara College for Recreation
Management. While in Vancouver she took classes at the Harbour Dance School,
taught swimming lessons, Aquafit and aerobics.
Jodi has performed in numerous events and stage productions. She followed her
husband to Powell River twelve years ago where she worked as a lifeguard ,then
at the Credit Union. In her spare time she I volunteered with the Powel River
Youth Ambassadors for two years. She has been teaching Hip Hop, pop, and jazz
for the last five years.
